Orange Lose to North Carolina in Overtime

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Despite Cole Swider's career night scoring 36 points, Syracuse (15-15 overall, 9-10 ACC) fell 88-79 to North Carolina (22-8 overall, 14-5 ACC) in overtime.

Swider's offensive performance is the best of an Orange player this season in a regulation and overtime game.

Tar Heels' offensive leader Armando Bancot produced his 23rd double-double of the season with 22 points and 18 rebounds.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
After Joe Girard III's last second basket to send the game into overtime, the Tar Heels controlled the overtime period producing eight unanswered points to start the five minute period to steal the game.
