Detroit -- An old nemesis or an old friend?
Jamie Dixon might be both when it comes to the Syracuse Orange.
Dixon, who in just his second year at Texas Christian University has led his alma mater to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1998, returns to face a familiar foe in the first round of the tournament on Friday here at the Little Caesars Arena.
Syracuse, the No. 11 seed that had to play in the NCAA's First Four to get here, will face the No. 6 seed Horned Frogs (21-11) at 9:40 p.m. in Friday's first-round game.
