The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team (15-8) advanced to the Round of 32 after winning its First Round matchup over South Dakota State on Sunday. The eighth-seeded Orange will now face No. 1-ranked UConn (25-1) on Sunday for the opportunity to go to the Sweet Sixteen.
The game will tip-off at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The contest will be played at the AlamoDome in San Antonio, Texas.
Syracuse advanced Sunday after defeating the No. 9-seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the Round of 64, 72-55. All five Orange starters scored in double-figures in the win.
