Syracuse University will celebrate all veterans and active duty military throughout the 2018 football season with the Military Appreciation Program, presented by SEFCU. The eighth annual Military Appreciation Day celebration is Saturday, September 22nd when the Orange host Connecticut, while Syracuse's Military Pass provides veterans and active duty military two complimentary tickets to a home football game each month of the season.
The Military Pass is part of Chancellor Kent Syverud's plan to make Syracuse University "the best place for veterans," – a commitment he verbalized during his 2014 inauguration remarks.
"We embrace the opportunity to welcome all veteran and active duty military to our athletic events through the Military Appreciate Program," said Syracuse Director of Athletics John Wildhack.
