Syracuse, N.Y. -- Zaire Franklin is going to be disappointed when he emerges from the visitors' locker room and heads into the tunnel at LSU.
Franklin had heard LSU keeps its beautiful 1-year-old Siberian-Bengal in a cage to greet the opposition before the game kicks off, and the senior linebacker was looking forward to it.
"That's kind of interesting," Franklin said earlier this week. "I kind of want to look at it and maybe see if I can mess with him a little bit. I heard they make him roar when we're running out.
"I don't think I'm going to be scared.
