Walk-on long snapper Mike Midkiff is the subject of a profile published by Syracuse University News on Friday.
A member of a military-connected family, the redshirt freshman details how he came to play for a Power-Five football program, and how he balances life as a Division I student-athlete with serving in the University's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
"Knowing how military-friendly they are here definitely made my family and me feel more comfortable," Midkiff told SU News.
