Michigan State WR transfer among Syracuse football's mid-year enrollees

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Michigan State wide receiver Trishton Jackson is among the 10 new members of the Syracuse football team who have enrolled for the spring semester.

Jackson, a former four-star recruit from West Bloomfield, Mich., must sit out the 2018 season, per NCAA transfer rules, but the 6-foot-1, 179-pounder is on campus participating in offseason workouts and will be able to practice in the spring and throughout the year.

He is one of two Division I transfers to join the team at the midyear. Linebacker Zack Lesko is back at Syracuse after spending last season at FCS Chattanooga.
