Marek Dolezaj, his shooting stroke reconfigured, scored career-high 12 points vs. BC

Syracuse, N.Y. - Marek Dolezaj estimates he takes 300 shots per practice under the watchful eye of Syracuse basketball assistant Adrian Autry.

Primarily because of his ability to pass the ball, the Orange has used the freshman forward in various situations this season at the high post. Autry has said he wants Dolezaj at the very least to turn and look at the basket when he catches it there, to make defenders believe he is a threat to shoot the ball.

On Wednesday, Dolezaj made a 15-foot- jump shot from that area, an indication of how much he has worked on his shooting stroke and how much his belief has grown in a jump shot that has undergone massive repair and reconstruction.
