Malachi Richardson helps Toronto Raptors in NBA summer league quarterfinals

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse player Malachi Richardson scored in double-figures to help the Toronto Raptors advance in the NBA Summer League's playoffs.

Richardson scored 14 points on 5-for-12 shooting in the Raptors' 87-84 overtime win over Charlotte in the second round of the NBA Summer League playoffs in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 6-foot-6 Richardson started the game and played 35 minutes. He connected on two of his four shots from 3-point range. He also had three rebounds, a pair of assists and a steal.

Richardson was one of five Toronto players in double-figures. Former Arizona player Rawle Alkins led the Raptors with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
