Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse lacrosse defender Brett Kennedy always sensed that the good times were right around the corner.
Whether he would eventually be proven correct or not was always an uncertainty, and to a degree it still is. But that's no matter.
A promising young player needs hope to hang onto as he fights through a torn ACL twice in four seasons, and Kennedy is good about seeing the sunshine ahead.
"Anything can happen to anybody. It's just about how you react to it, get back to the field,'' Kennedy said. "I just knew the time would come back where I can play.
