Kris Joseph is heading to play pro basketball in Portugal

After an impressive four-year career on the basketball court with the Syracuse Orange, Kris Joseph ended up getting selected in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics.

Joseph was actually one of two former Syracuse players to be drafted by the Celtics that year as the team also selected former Orange big man Fab Melo in the first round.

Despite getting selected in the draft, Joseph’s time in the NBA did not last very long. He was waived by Boston halfway through the 2012-13 season and then he found his way onto the Brooklyn Nets’ roster for the remainder of his rookie year.
