Syracuse, N.Y. -- The rivalry between Syracuse and Georgetown helped built the Big East.
The two arch-enemies staged some of the most memorable games in league, if not college basketball history.
But five years ago, Syracuse left the Big East to join the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Since then, the two schools have attempted to keep up relations with one game a year, but after Syracuse's exhilarating 72-71 victory over Georgetown at the Carrier Dome, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said it might be difficult to continue the series when the ACC expands its regular-season schedule to 20 conference games next year.
