Jim Boeheim on all those Syracuse basketball fouls at Ohio State: '35 free throws?'

Columbus, Ohio -- Elijah Hughes laughed at the ludicrous possibility. He was asked late Wednesday night, after his Syracuse team disposed of Ohio State 72-62 in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge, whether he was prepared at some point during the game to play the center spot.

"If I had to, I had to," he said.

It nearly came to that. Hughes, the sophomore wing, accumulated a mere three fouls on a night when three teammates fouled out and the Orange was whistled for a whopping 28 infractions. Bourama Sidibe fouled out first. His night did not last 12 minutes.
