Jackson's Action Not Enough in Loss To BC

Share:

SYRACUSE, N.Y. Trishton Jackson caught eight passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns but Boston College (5-4, 3-3 ACC) used a dominating ground game to defeat Syracuse (3-6, 0-5 ACC), 58-27.

Boston College scored five touchdowns in the second period – three on touchdown passes by Dennis Grosel and two on the ground. A botched hold on an extra point attempt forced BC into an unplanned two-point conversion attempt, which failed, and gave the Eagles 34 points in the quarter.

The Eagles ended up with 496 yards rushing, the most ever given up by a Syracuse defense.
