Syracuse, N.Y. — The Atlantic Coast Conference is putting more of its sporting events, like Syracuse University basketball and football games, on its new web channel instead of television, but that doesn't mean you can't watch them on TV.
The ACC is planning to launch its own cable network, the ACC Network, in partnership with ESPN in 2019. In the interim, it is putting lots of games on its web channel, ACC Network Extra, which also was created in partnership with ESPN.
That means that you'll see fewer ACC games broadcast on television, at least until the conference gets its own network up and running in 2019.
