SYRACUSE – The 'Hoops for the Stars' program will be highlighted on Jan. 15 with an on-court presentation at the Carrier Dome to honor more than 150 area youth at the Syracuse University men's basketball game against Boston College. A similar event is scheduled for Feb. 29, when North Carolina comes to the Dome.
For the 12th year in a row, Syracuse University and National Grid Foundation continue to partner to provide positive reinforcement, recognition of improved academic performance and attendance in school, a decrease in negative behavior, and positive contributions to the community.
