2017 stats: Hofrichter continued the legacy of excellence in Syracuse punting. The Orange led the ACC in net Punting Average (41.3 yds) and pinned opponents in their own red zones 20 times to go along with 10 punts of 50 yards or more. Oh, he also went 66% on field goals, so that’s something he can do.
2018 projections: Sterling is already on plenty of radars, being named Pre-Season all ACC by the ACC Media, All-ACC by Phil Steele and to the Ray Guy Watch List, making up for last year’s snub.
