The Syracuse Orange are set to take on former Big East rival Georgetown momentarily from the Carrier Dome and are looking to defend the team’s undefeated record this year at home (5-0). Jim Boeheim’s club will be closing out the last game in a four-part series today against Georgetown — the jury is still out on whether or not the rivalry will continue with the ACC moving to 20 league games starting in 2019-20.
There’s been a plethora of great Syracuse-Georgetown memories over the years, starting with ‘Manley Fieldhouse is officially closed,’ all the way to the Big East Tournament Semifinal in 2013 that ended in a Syracuse win.
