The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team looks to get out of the Maui Invitational with a win as it plays the host team Chaminade in the last place game.
The Orange are 0-2 in this year’s event, falling to ranked foes Tennessee and Gonzaga. The Silverswords lost to Kansas and UCLA. Both teams have had trouble rebounding the ball in this event — Chaminade is getting out-rebounded by 15.0 rebounds per contest in Maui. Plus, both teams are struggling to shoot the ball as both the Orange and Silverswords are just over 29% from outside on the season.
