Firing on all cylinders, the Syracuse University football team scored early and often at UConn's Pratt & Whitney Stadium, picking up a 48-14 win in the first road game of the season for the Orange.

The Orange (2-0) defense held the Huskies to just 202 total yards, the fewest yards allowed this season. Syracuse's offense piled up 465 total yards, including 309 through the air. The Orange did not punt until the fourth quarter.

Syracuse was led by a multi-faceted night from quarterback Garrett Shrader, who delivered a near perfect evening with 287 yards, three passing touchdowns and completing 20 of 23 pass attempts.
