Fran Brown shares devastating update on Syracuse QB Steve Angeli

Not every aspect of Syracuse's victory over the Clemson Tigers was a win for the Orange. During the 34-21 upset, starting quarterback Steve Angeli went down with a non-contact injury.

After the game, Syracuse head coach Fran Brown had a disheartening update on his QB1, altering the outlook for the rest of the season.

Angeli will be "out for a long time," Brown said on the team's postgame radio show.

Earlier in the game, Angeli had been hit hard and momentarily exited the game, but was able to return. When he went down the second time, it was on a quarterback keep; he simply stumbled and went to the ground without being touched.
