Up against a tough schedule this season, the Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team hasn’t had the easiest time. And yet, the young squad still finished 4-0 in the ACC and is in contention for a top-eight seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament just the same.
That youth is an underrated aspect of this year’s SU team, but one that’s reflected well in this year’s All-ACC selections, released on Thursday. Four Orange players were given all-conference honors: Nate Solomon, Jamie Trimboli, Nick Mellen and Brett Kennedy. Three of those four are either a sophomore or freshman.
