Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse football defensive tackle Jay Bromley has signed as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints, the team announced on Monday.
A three-year starter for the Orange, Bromley played his first four professional seasons with the New York Giants after being selected in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He appeared in 55 career regular season games for the Giants, starting four, and recording 76 tackles and two sacks.
Bromley, who shared a locker room with a handful of SU products in New York, will get to match up against former teammate Andrew Tiller in practice again.
