Syracuse, N.Y. -- C.J. Fair will play this season for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the G League.
The Mad Ants are the G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers. Fair played for them two seasons ago; one of his teammates that year was Rakeem Christmas. Last season, Fair went overseas and played for Limoges in France's A League.
Fair, a 6-foot-8 forward who graduated from SU in 2014, was a member of Boeheim's Army last summer when that team made The Tournament's final four.
Fort Wayne opened training camp on Monday. Fair is among eight returning players in camp for the franchise, which plays its first game Saturday on Long Island against the Nets' G League team.
