Former Syracuse outside linebacker Cameron Lynch signed with the St. Louis Rams Saturday night, as first reported by The Post-Standard’s Stephen Bailey.
Lynch was a captain in his senior year and started the last two years for the Orange. He led Syracuse in tackles in 2014 with 97, 12 of which were for a loss. He also recorded seven sacks and garnered a third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference award. As a junior, he had 69 tackles and four sacks.
Lynch was the fifth former Syracuse player to sign as an undrafted free agent on Saturday. This is the first year since 2008, and second since 1975, that Syracuse hasn’t had a player selected in the NFL Draft.
