Syracuse, N.Y. — Jay Bromley will not be arrested after a woman accused him of attempted rape, according to a report by the New York Daily News.
The former Syracuse football defensive tackle became tangled in the accusations this weekend after a woman alleged he tried to rape her and then struck her with his vehicle when leaving a New York City hotel.
An unnamed police source told the Daily News that Bromley "didn't do it."
Bromley, 23, played at Syracuse from 2010-13 and was a third-team All-ACC selection as a senior after recording 10 sacks and 14.
