Dungey Named Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Honorable Mention

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Syracuse senior quarterback Eric Dungey received Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Honorable Mention recognition on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Dungey was one of 30 nominees for the award, which is presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in association with the Associated Press (AP) and the Fiesta Bowl.

In addition to Dungey, Purdue's David Blough, Virginia Tech's Caleb Farley, Tennessee Tech's Josh Poplar, Ohio Northern's Sam Shook and Washburn University's Austin Tillman were honorable mention selections.

The inaugural Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Award winners were Kent State's Antwan Dixon, Dartmouth's Seth Simmer and Carson-Newman's Antonio Wimbush.
