Duke basketball will return to Carrier Dome next season

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Duke-Syracuse basketball matchup that has set attendance records the past two times it has been played will return to the Carrier Dome next season.

The games played between the two schools at the Carrier Dome in both 2014 and 2015 have drawn sellout crowds of 35,446. That number is currently the on-campus record for attendance for a college basketball game.

The ACC released the game pairings for its basketball teams for the next two seasons on Friday afternoon, with Syracuse's 2016-17 schedule highlighted by the return of the Blue Devils. The 2017-18 home schedule seems likely to be highlighted by a visit from North Carolina.
