Donovan McNabb interested in Syracuse football radio analyst job

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse football All-American quarterback Donovan McNabb is interested in returning to his alma mater to work as a radio broadcast analyst.

McNabb's agent, Mark Lepselter, said he spoke by phone last month with Syracuse University Athletic Director John Wildhack. The conversation was described as an inquiry into whether Syracuse would consider McNabb as a possible candidate.

McNabb would bring significant and credible broadcasting experience to the position, which was previously held by former All-American tight end Chris Gedney, who died last March.

But university officials are cognizant a woman's claims against McNabb and several other men that serve as the basis for a lawsuit against NFL Network might be a potential sticking point in McNabb's hiring, especially in the #MeToo era.
