Dino Babers says Syracuse football recruits are 'break' class; what does that mean?

Syracuse, N.Y. -- National signing day isn't what it used to be, as most programs signed the majority of their classes before Christmas.

Aside from a minor tease from a one-time USC commit, it was a ho-hum day in Syracuse football's orbit. The Orange added three players to the crop of 15 that signed in December -- two running backs and a defensive lineman.

Coach Dino Babers referred to the 2018 class as a "break class," a group that perhaps for the first time since Babers arrived here three years ago will not have to be asked to contribute before it is ready.
