We hear this nearly every year, but that doesn’t make it any less valid a conversation for each individual player. Jamal Custis was a recent topic of discussion here, and numerous members of the current team have also been basketball players in the past. You may recall Mike Williams played for the Orange men’s basketball team as a walk-on during the injury-plagued 2007-08 season, and Donovan McNabb also saw the court for Jim Boeheim while he was on campus as well.
