Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse guard Mike Gbinije earned the ultimate sign of respect from Cornell on Saturday, even if he wasn't particularly thrilled about it.
Gbinije's early season success earned an afternoon of constant double-teams, an adjustment for a guard who spent last season serving as a second option to Rakeem Christmas and the start of this season making his way to the top of each opponent's game plan.
"Two possessions in they were yelling it, double, double, double. I was like, 'Damn,'" Gbinije said. "There's pros and cons to everything.
