Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse will be the hub of some world-class lacrosse this week.
The Onondaga Nation and SU are teaming up to host a series of contests, both of the box and field variety.
Thursday through Saturday, a Lacrosse All-Stars North American Invitational (LASNAI) box tournament will be held at both the Onondaga Nation Fieldhouse and at the outdoor box facility as well.
Twenty-one teams are expected to compete, including a squad that will include all four Thompson brothers. Former Syracuse greats Casey and Ryan Powell headline another entry, one that is expected to feature several former Orange greats.
