Class of 2020 recruiting target Andre Jackson has committed to UConn, the Albany City Rocks wing announced on Wednesday. Jackson, the No. 70 ranked recruit in his class, chose the Huskies over Iowa, Maryland, UCLA and Syracuse.
Jackson made his decision Wednesday afternoon at his high school, Albany Academy.
“Syracuse has been around since the jump,” He told TNIAAM back in August. “They’ve been on me heavy ever since they even started recruiting me.
“UConn, same way. They’ve recruited me since sophomore year.”
Syracuse was widely considered the favorite to land Jackson throughout the process by most recruiting experts, until his visit to UConn on Sept.
