Philadelphia - Brandon Triche couldn't quite remember the date of his last triple-double.
"Maybe 11th grade, 10th grade," he said Saturday night at Philadelphia University, where his 11 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists helped Boeheim's Army overwhelm DuBois Dream 99-66 to advance in the $2 million The Basketball Tournament. The Syracuse-based team plays Gaelnation, a collection of former Iona players, at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday for a chance to reach the Super 16.
Triche achieved all those double figures in 28 minutes. At one point during the game, somebody pointed out he needed one more rebound to reach the basketball milestone.
