Boeheim's Army quest for its first TBT title fell short in a 65-48 loss to Sideline Cancer in the event quarterfinals on Saturday in Columbus.
Eric Devendorf led Boeheim's Army with 14 points. Andrew White III had 11 points and six rebounds and John Gillon added 10 points and four assists.. Donte Greene led the squad with nine rebounds.
The game played out as a defensive struggle over the first two periods. Boeheim's Army and Sideline Cancer were tied, 24-24, at the intermission. Sideline Cancer took over in the third period, outscoring Boeheim's Army 24-10 in the quarter.
