After winning its third game in TBT on Thursday night, Boeheim’s Army reconvened at the same LIU Brooklyn gym to take on Team FOE for a spot in the Final Four. The former Syracuse Orange players found themselves in a fight early but eventually came from behind to win 72-67.
Eric Devendorf scored 8 of the team’s first 9 point to keep the ship afloat, but shot making proved to be difficult throughout the first half evidenced by 8-of-30 from the floor. Defensively, the Army struggled to rebound out of the zone, so the team switched to man at the under four minute mark of the first half.
