Battle leads Orange surge over Hoyas

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A jumper by with three seconds left on the game clock was enough to push Syracuse (7-2) ahead for a 72-71 victory over Georgetown (7-1) Saturday evening at the Carrier Dome.
