Travis Fisher, who spent nine years in the NFL as a defensive back and has coached the position in the college ranks for more than a decade, has been hired as Syracuse's Cornerbacks Coach.

Fisher brings with him a knack for developing players to succeed at the next level. In the past five seasons, nine of his players have gone on to ink NFL contracts, including first-round pick Mike Hughes, second-round selection Cam Taylor-Britt and third-round pick Shaquille Griffin.

"I'm excited to welcome Coach Fisher to Syracuse," said head coach Dino Babers.
