Syracuse basketball appears to be on the outside looking in for 2026 four-star small forward Maximo Adams, a California-based prospect who had a stock-rising spring and summer on the EYBL circuit.
The Orange staff offered a scholarship to the 6-foot-8 Adams in late June. Around that time, one of his AAU coaches told me that Adams was highly interested in taking an official visit to the Hill, likely this fall.

However, more recently, Adams' offer sheet has blown up with newer offers from blue-blood and heavyweight programs such as Duke, Michigan State, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, Alabama and Houston, among others.
