2 Baseball Hall of Famers go to bat for Syracuse University's new sports analytics program

Syracuse University's Falk College of Sports Management is bringing in a pair of heavy hitters to help raise awareness of its new sports analytics program.

As part of a two-day symposium in Syracuse, SU has landed guest stars Roberto Alomar and Ryne Sandberg, both hall of famers. They will appear at the 2017 Baseball Legends Night on April 21 at The Oncenter.

"Hall of Famers Roberto Alomar and Ryne Sandberg, whose playing careers intersected with the early stages of big data in baseball, will provide their insight and experiences for this lead-in to Syracuse University's new sport analytics program," Jeff Idelson, President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, said in a statement.
