Swansea City news: Graham Potter expects to become manager and reportedly says his goodbyes at Ostersunds

Ostersunds manager Graham Potter appears to have won the race to become the next Swansea City boss after he told his players last night he was expecting to leave the Swedish club.

Potter, 43, made a name for himself across Europe when he guided Ostersunds - a club only founded in 1996 - to the last 32 of the Europa League, where they beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium, but went out 4-2 on aggregate.

Osteresunds have made excellent progress since Potter was hired as their manager in December 2010, winning the Swedish Cup in the 2016/17 season in addition to their Europa League run in 2017/18.
