Pontus Jansson insists he is 'so thankful' to Marcelo Bielsa and reveals he has taken the Leeds boss' 'ideas and knowledge' to Brentford as he claims they still have a good relationship despite acrimonious Elland Road exit

Pontus Jansson has revealed he has brought several tactical ideas from Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds side to Brentford after their promotion to the Premier League.

Bees captain Jansson signed for Thomas Frank's outfit after being told he was no longer wanted by Bielsa's Leeds, but the 30-year-old also insisted his relationship with the innovative Argentine was still strong despite his acrimonious exit.

And when asked whether the promotion justified his transfer from Leeds to West London, the Swede responded positively.
