John Toshack's son Cameron proud of father's achievements but insists 'I'm my own man' as he guides Swansea's Under 23 side

There was something unusual about how Cameron Toshack would use his annual leave in his days at one of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies.

At varying points across 10 years at Pfizer, he was a sales manager and a lead figure in the UK and European marketing team. Swansea’s academy coach was a manager of managers back then, except when his six weeks of holiday kicked in.

There were flying visits to Russia, Armenia, Portugal, among others - time spent on his other job under the wing of his famous father.

‘I had a year as assistant manager of Macedonia from 2011 to 2012, working part-time when my dad was in charge,’ he said.
