The midfielder fell under the non-existent challenge from Wallace when Lazio were leading 1-0. Daniele De Rossi scored the spot kick, but the club still lost 3-1.
At Old Trafford shortly afterwards, Marcus Rashford won Man United a penalty against Swansea, but replays showed it shouldn't have been given.
