Wolves 0-0 Sunderland: Nuno Espirito Santo's men slip up in title race after goalless stalemate against Championship strugglers

Wolves somehow failed to beat 10-man Sunderland after a frustrating afternoon at Molineux.

The home side were the better team throughout the match but struggled to breakdown Sunderland's dogged defence.

Chris Coleman would have feared the worst after midfielder Lee Cattermole was dismissed for two yellow cards with just under half an hour to play.

But the away side to dug deep to claim a valuable point as Nuno Espirito Santo's men remain top but miss opportunity to win.
