A charity set up in Bradley Lowery's memory has slammed the football yob spared jail for mocking the late child.

The Bradley Lowery Foundation has raised £20,000 for childhood cancer after the little boy died aged six from neuroblastoma in 2017.

The foundation condemned Sheffield Wednesday fan Dale Houghton, 32, who held up an image of Bradley during a match while laughing in a bid to goad Sunderland fans.

It said 'there are some things you just don't joke about' following Houghton's actions - as he was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months at Sheffield Magistrates Court.
