Sunderland midfielder Luke O'Nien has joked that he will not consider going to Rome for his honeymoon after upsetting Roma boss Jose Mourinho in a pre-season friendly.
Roma and Sunderland faced each other in Albufeira on Wednesday, and O'Nien certainly left his mark when he caught defender Roger Ibanez in the face with a stray elbow.
Mourinho was outraged by the challenge and stormed onto the pitch while Ibanez received treatment, calling for O'Nien to be sent off. O'Nien has finally responded to the incident on Twitter.
