David Moyes was asked a question last week - is Jermain Defoe actually getting better with age?
The Sunderland boss was reluctant to say that, at 34, Defoe was now at the peak of his powers, but he certainly agreed that there has been no deterioration.
Moyes, in fact, may have been wrong. Defoe's point-saving double against Liverpool on Monday took his Premier League tally for the season to 11.

Only once before has the striker hit that total by the time of the first fixture in January, and that was in a Spurs side which went on to finish fourth in 2009/10 and included the likes of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.
