Sunderland have signed Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs from NEC Nijmegen for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old, who has signed a five-year contract at the Stadium of Light, has become Regis le Bris' eighth capture of the summer transfer window.
Roefs enjoyed a breakout year in the Eredivisie last season, making 32 appearances and keeping 10 clean sheets as Nijmegen finished eighth.
The goalkeeper, who has made 10 appearances for the Netherlands Under-21s, said: "It feels really good to have signed for Sunderland. Joining such a big club with a rich history is a proud moment for me, and I'm excited for the challenge ahead in the Premier League.
